Dr. Jimmy Ellison
Senior Pastor
Jimmy Ellison is the founding and lead pastor of Newnan City Church since 2017 and is an ordained Elder in the Free Methodist Church. He has a passion for helping others and leading them to the Kingdom of God. He holds degrees from Young Harris College, LaGrange College, Emory University and Asbury Theological Seminary. He is married to Beth Parrish and they have two grown sons, Will and Bennett.
Ryan Wommack
Worship Pastor
Ryan Wommack joined the Newnan City Church team in 2025 Originally from Columbus, Georgia, he is a graduate of Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. Ryan married his wife, Emily, in December 2025. He has a deep passion for Spirit-filled worship and loves serving and loving on the congregation through worship, prayer, and walking with them through life’s trials. Ryan enjoys music and playing a variety of instruments, and outside of ministry, he is also a fragrance enthusiast who simply enjoys smelling great.
Cedric Hill
Associate Pastor
Since 2022, Cedric Hill has been serving as an associate pastor at Newnan City Church. A graduate of Morehouse College, he holds the position of an ordained Elder within the Free Methodist Church. In 2016, Cedric made the decision to leave an engineering graduate program after sensing a divine calling. This led him to embark on a journey into ministry, ultimately guided by his faith. Cedric is happily married to Britt Howell.
Stacy Fisher
Church Administrator
Stacy joined the Newnan City Church staff in 2026 as Church Administrator, bringing nearly 16 years of church administration experience. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management with a concentration in Healthcare Management and previously served as a Medical Practice Manager. Stacy is passionate about serving the church, supporting its ministries, and caring for its members. She and her husband, Jeff, have been married since 1988 and have two grown children. Outside of church, she enjoys horseback riding, gardening, and volunteering in animal rescue.
Cate Drew
Missions Director
Cate was born and raised in Newnan and is a graduate of York St. John University in England. She has served as Missions & Ministry Director at Newnan City since 2025. Cate felt called to pursue a people-driven role and is passionate about connecting individuals with opportunities to live out their faith through missions and service.
Mary Nieto
Executive Assistant
Mary is a dedicated non-profit professional with nearly a decade of experience driving community engagement and communications initiatives. Born and raised just north of Atlanta, Mary and her husband Justin married in 2018 and moved to Newnan in 2021. They began attending Newnan City Church in 2023 with their two children, Silas and Ruth, and she joined the NCC staff at the beginning of 2026. A proud graduate of the University of Georgia with a B.A. in Communication Studies, Mary has built a diverse career supporting impactful organizations in Washington, D.C., San Francisco, and Seattle. Her interests include painting, kayaking, studying Russian, debate, and singing.
Hughston Juranitich
Student Pastor
Hughston Juranitch joined the Newnan City Church staff in 2026 as Youth Pastor. He earned a bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies and Youth Ministry from Point University and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at Emmanuel Christian Seminary. Before joining NCC, Hughston served in college ministry for four years, including an opportunity to minister in Australia. He is passionate about investing in the next generation and helping students grow in their relationship with Christ. In his free time, Hughston enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and, if you ask him, nothing beats homemade baked macaroni and cheese.
Brittany Brown
Creative Director
Brittany and her family have been part of Newnan City Church since 2021. She is married to Stephen, and together they have two children. Created by the Creator with a heart for creativity, Brittany has spent her career channeling her gifts and talents through various art forms, from cosmetology to photography, where she ran her own business. She believes her creative passions are God-given and purposed for something greater, and joining the NCC staff was the fulfillment of that calling, to use her lens to visually tell the story of the Gospel.
Donald "Don" Johnson
Production Director
Don joined Newnan City Church in 2022 and officially joined the staff in 2026.
Born and raised in Sylvester, Georgia, Don moved to the Atlanta area in the summer of 2019 to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Music Technology at
Georgia State, graduating in 2023. Working behind the scenes, he uses his
God-given talents to help the worship team facilitate an environment where
all can worship freely and intentionally. Outside of the church, he owns and operates his own recording studio and live-production company.
Ezra Thompson
Maintenance, Security and Grounds Director
Ezra was raised in Hannibal, Missouri, the hometown of Mark Twain.
He attended Truman State University and earned a BS degree in Criminal Justice. He later became a Trooper for the Missouri State Highway Patrol. He and his wife Pam have been married for 25 years. Recently retired from Aflac Inc. as a Fraud Investigator, he now serves on the Coweta County Board of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. His interests outside of the church include college football, historical documentaries, gardening, chess, working out, and artistic painting.
