Dr. Jimmy Ellison

Senior Pastor and Local Missions Director

Jimmy Ellison is the founding and lead pastor of Newnan City Church and is an ordained Elder in the Free Methodist Church. He has a passion for helping others and leading them to the Kingdom of God. He holds degrees from Young Harris College, LaGrange College, Emory University and Asbury Theological Seminary.
He is married to Beth Parrish and they have two grown sons, Will and Bennett.

Cedric Hill

Associate Pastor and Small Groups Director

Since 2022, Cedric Hill has been serving as an associate pastor at Newnan City Church. A graduate of Morehouse College, he holds the position of an ordained Elder within the Free Methodist Church. In 2016, Cedric made the decision to leave an engineering graduate program after sensing a divine calling. This led him to embark on a journey into ministry, ultimately guided by his faith. Cedric is happily married to Britt Howell.

Darrin Brewington

Associate and Worship Pastor

Darrin Brewington is the Worship Pastor at Newnan City Church and is also seeking ordination through the Free Methodist Church. Graduated from 10,000 Fathers Worship School in 2018 and is passionate about facilitating a space where people can come into genuine encounter with Jesus through the Holy Spirit. He also aims to equip and empower the next generation to not only lead dynamically, but also lead with integrity through song-writing and discipleship. Darrin is married to his wife Ashley who is a registered nurse.

Britt Hill

Associate Worship Leader

Britt has attended Newnan City Church since late 2020, and has served as the Worship Associate at Newnan City Church since early 2022. She moved to Newnan after attending Calvary Chapel School of Worship and serving as a Worship Director at Grace Church in Texas. She is newly and happily married to Cedric Hill and together they lead our NCCpm service.

Ryan Wommack

Associate Worship Director & Student Ministry Leader

Ryan Wommack join staff at Newnan City Church in spring 2025. Ryan originally grew up in Columbus, Georgia and recently graduated from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. Ryan will be married to his soon to be wife, Emily, come December 2025!

Ashley McKenzie

Children's Ministry Director

Ashley McKenzie was born and raised in Newnan where she still resides with her husband, Zach, and her boys, Wyatt and John Ryan. She dedicated her life to the Lord after experiencing the unconditional love she feels for her children, realizing the Father loves her even more. She is passionate about the future and eternity of our community’s kids and is grateful to hear and follow the call of the Holy Spirit into children’s ministry at NCC. Throughout the week, she can be found gardening, baking or chasing chickens (and kiddos)!

Lindsay Robison

Administrative Director

Lindsay Robison is the Administrative Director at Newnan City Church. She has a Bachelor of Science from Auburn University. After working from home for 20 years, Lindsay joined the staff in 2021. She is married to Jason Robison and has two college-aged sons, Warren and Carter.

Ezra Thompson

Maintenance, Security and Grounds Director

Ezra was raised in Hannibal, Missouri, the hometown of Mark Twain. He attended Truman State University and earned a BS degree in Criminal Justice. He later became a Trooper for the Missouri State Highway Patrol. He and his wife Pam have been married for 25 years. Recently retired from Aflac Inc. as a Fraud Investigator, he now serves on the Coweta County Board of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. His interests outside of the church include college football, historical documentaries, gardening, chess, working out, and artistic painting.

Brittany Brown

Creative Media Director

Brittany and her family began attending Newnan City Church in 2021 and were soon baptized and became members. She is married to Stephen and together they have two children. When she is not at the church she is at home enjoying time with them, gardening, or listening to audio books. As a creative she has always enjoyed the creative arts, before NCC she was a master cosmetologist and found her passion for photography when she left that first career behind and started her own photography business. She knew that juoining the staff at NCC was a calling from the Lord.
