Every Sunday, our desire is for each guest to encounter the Holy Spirit through praise and worship, the preached Word, and Holy Communion. Our Senior Pastor, Dr. Jimmy Ellison, leads our morning services, and our Associate Pastor, Cedric Hill, leads our evening services.
A typical service lasts about 60 minutes and features engaging worship music that includes both contemporary songs and traditional hymns, led by our worship team. Worship is followed by a message, typically part of a sermon series, taught directly from Scripture using the Holy Bible. We conclude our services with Holy Communion, altar calls, confession and prayer, and praise and worship.
We offer four services every Sunday, starting with an 8:00 AM "unplugged" service in the front lobby for our early birds - enter through the front double doors.
Our late morning services are at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM and, weather permitting, take place outside under our beautiful tent behind the building. Walk to the left side of the building down the pathway to the back, and you'll be greeted with a smile, receive a gift bag, and be given a communion packet.
You may sign your children in at the NCC KIDS table before taking a seat under the tent.
You may drop off younger children (infants–24 months) inside the nursery before worship begins, if you wish. Please check in with the Children's Director at the NCC KIDS sign-in table on the pathway to the tent.
Children are welcome to join the congregation for praise and worship and will be dismissed afterward to attend children’s church. Due to limited space, children in 3rd grade and up will remain seated for the sermon. However, we offer THRIVE345;
a small group for 3rd–5th graders
on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM in the front lobby during the school year.
Plan to hang around after the service for fellowship!
